Happy New Year Friends! I recently had the honor of hosting a much needed Girls Night Out with Disneyland for the Lunar New Year. I brought 8 of my fellow Disney loving bloggers for a very special VIP evening. These women made my GNO dreams come true by agreeing to coordinate outfits for the perfect group pic!
Our GNO started with a special greeting and gift bag from a cast member at the Grand Californian and we immediately got our ears on and hit Downtown Disney for some fun photo ops. In Downtown Disney there are some fun and very colorful walls celebrating Mickey’s 90th, creating the perfect backdrop for #getyourearson.
From there we were off to Disney California Adventure for our VIP experience of the Lunar New Year.
From now until Febuary 17th you too can celebrate the Lunar New Year the year of the pig, in Disneyland with special performances, décor, merchandise and some amazing food.
We welcomed the Year of the Pig at Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession, a vibrant parade hosted by Mulan and Mushu—plus the Three Little Pigs made a special appearance in full holiday garb.
You can also meet Disney Friends at Paradise Gardens Park.
Mulan, Mushu, and more are dressed in festive Lunar New Year attire to celebrate with you!
We Began the Lunar New Year with good taste and good fortune as we explored a tantalizing array of Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese-inspired menus with a Disney twist.
We used the Sip and Savor Pass, (you can purchase for 39$) which consists of a commemorative credential and 6 coupons redeemable for food and beverage offerings (excluding alcohol) at select Lunar New Year Marketplace locations: and a fun little tip is that you don’t have to wait in the longest line for your favorite food. You can actually order any food at any booth!
• Longevity Noodle Co.
• Lucky 8 Lantern
• Prosperity Bao & Buns
• Red Dragon Spice Traders
• Paradise Garden Grill
• Festival Food and Beverage Cart
We also enjoyed Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, full of colorful floats and fun characters before we sat down for dinner at Wine Country Trattoria.

We spent our evening over dinner chatting about goals for our New Year. We ended our night seeing Mickey’s Mix Magic and the fireworks we a perfect grand finale.
